Dyson Heydon, Garfield Barwick - same same but different

Once someone becomes a High Court judge in Australia, they tend to become above popular criticism.

But the current storm in a teacup about Dyson Heydon giving the Garfield Barwick Address is a farce. If you didn't know that Sir Garfield was a Liberal and are surprised that the event was a Liberal Party event should check out "A Radical Tory: Garfield Barwick's Reflections and Recollections". Dyson and Garfield - old names for old men with old attitudes.

Political appointment to the Royal Commission - Derrrrrr.

How come there's a whole category of amphibians that I hadn't heard of? (I guess quitting biology in grade 9 probably didn't help).

Anyway, aside from frogs, salamanders, newts, there are also these wormy/snaky type amphibians: caecilians.

They seems to share the look of the prototype Loch Ness monster/space monster... but cute.
